Refund Policy

Summary

We want you to pay only for value you actually receive. This policy explains exactly when refunds are issued. To request one, email support@scientificfigure.com from the address on your account, with your receipt or order number.

One-Time Credit Purchases

• Unused credits: refundable in full within 14 days of purchase if none of the credits from that purchase have been spent.
• Partially used credits: within 14 days of purchase, we refund the unused portion pro-rata.
• After 14 days, credit purchases are non-refundable.

Subscriptions

• You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep full access until the end of the paid period.
• First-time subscribers: if you cancel within 7 days of your first subscription payment and have used less than 20% of the plan's monthly credits, we refund that payment in full.
• Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, with one exception: if a renewal charge occurs and you contact us within 72 hours without having used any credits from the new period, we will refund it.

Automatic Credit Returns

If a figure generation fails because of a service error, the credits it consumed are returned to your balance automatically — no request needed.

Service-Fault Refunds

If a billing error on our side charges you incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount), we refund the difference in full, regardless of the time limits above.

How Refunds Are Paid

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We do not issue refunds to a different card or account.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory refund rights you may have under the consumer-protection law of your country of residence (including the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal right, where applicable to digital services).
